Welcome to Novelty Revisions! I am so glad you’re here.
I’m a word nerd determined to help other writers, regardless of their genre, ambitions or experience level, take their ideas and turn them into something they can truly be proud of.
Novelty Revisions understands how difficult it is for writers to turn their ideas into captivating products. I address common struggles aspiring writers face and offer strategies and solutions to help them make a name for themselves in the publishing industry.
I’m here to help you:
- Keep track of and organize your ideas
- Refine your unique writing style and voice
- Find the writing processes that work for you
- Edit and revise your written work
- Discover new ways to channel your creativity
Putting your ideas into words is only the beginning. I hope you’ll join me for the long, exciting journey ahead.

Hi Meg! I’m so glad to stumble upon your resourceful and informative blog. Now I’m hooked:)
I’m so glad you are here! :)
Hello Meg
Thanks for the follow! How have you been and how’s your blog doing?
I don’t know if you know that I moved my blog to a self-hosted platform. This has prevented me from connecting with WordPress bloggers like I used to. I would still like to remain in contact with your blog. Do you have an RSS feed I can subscribe to?
If you would still like to follow my blog, may I add you to my mailing list? I send out one email per day with all the blogs posted for the day including blogging tips. You can also unsubscribe at any time if you feel you want to stop receiving the emails. If you are happy for me to subscribe you, please send me your email address.
Also, I created a blogger tips group to connect with all my long last WordPress blogger friends, and to help all of us to learn from each other. I would love for you to share your knowledge in the group and connect with other bloggers. Here’s the link:

Finally, here’s a blog I thought you may find interesting:

Thanks for the update! I’m actually going to have a new way you can follow along with Novelty and see posts REALLY soon (like, tomorrow!). So I’ll post a link to that when it’s ready! You can also find my posts shared on FB and Twitter (links at the bottom of the site) updated every day. :)
Hey there Meg. I have a question for you, but I’m not seeing a contact form. Do you mind dropping me a line?
Sent you an email :)
Hey Meg,
How can I contact you? I am not interested in Upwork. Can you write a write a line or two through my email?
Cheers!!
That’s completely understandable. :) You can reach me at megdowell21@gmail(dot)com
Your site is similar to my site. I love it. I have been looking around and I like what you have done so I will have to see if I can do it also. lol
Awesome! What’s your writing background? :)
Two months
I have always wanted to but never the confidence until I found WP, Typepad, and Blogger
Sorry, I might add, I did some professional writing when I was in the military 20 years and after retirement as an engineer. Nothing published except FB and junk like that. Mostly government related.
Hello Meg, you may want to edit your about page. “I are here to help you”?
Just a thought.
Well that’s embarrassing. :P Writers helping writers one typo at a time, eh?
Not the best look for editors advertising their services. Just trying to help.
Hi Meg, so nice to find your blog! Looking forward to seeing your posts in my reader. Happy writing!
Welcome to the blog! I’m so glad you’re here. If there’s every anything writing-related I can help you out with, don’t hesitate to let me know!
Hi, Meg – I just wanted to thank you for your words of encouragement. As I went through the last few steps of self-publishing recently (during our time of “stay-at-home” orders, when there was no excuse not to!), your posts were just the right thing at the right time. Keep up the good work.
