I’m not going to lie to you. I haven’t gotten a lot of inspiration to blog for the past few days. Ever since I got back from my vacation I’ve been writing in my journal like crazy. When I write in my journal that much, it’s hard to pull away from that and come write a fantabulous blog entry! I’m really sorry if I’ve disappointed you all. I promise I’ll try to do better. And if I don’t….I don’t know. You think of a consequence. Just let me know what it is before you bestow your wrath upon my innocence.
I’ve basically decided that now isn’t the right time for a lot of things in my life like I thought it was. I thought I was ready to start another novel–possibly a sequal to the one I just finished at the end of November. But I’ve realized that I’m not as ready as I thought I was. Like I mentioned before (in my last post, perhaps?), I tried to start writing it two or three times earlier this week, and it just never sat well with me. The ideas were in my head; they just never managed to come out the right way. So my mind has basically dropped that project for now. Possibly forever, but you never know.
I also thought I was finally ready to do some soul-searching and grow up. But with all this talk about graduating early and the ACT and college, I’m not so sure about the timing of that ambition. One one hand (porbably my right one), I just want to sit back and be a kid for the remaining time I have to do that. On the other hand (so my left), I know it’s time to get serious and focus on the future. But right now it’s Saturday, and my plans for the day are to watch Golmore Girls, read this stupid book that I’ve been trying to read for the past seven months, and possibly do a little homework. Probably not, but we’ll see.
I wanted to watch a movie with my family last night, but they all abandoned me and fell asleep and such obnoxious activities on a Friday night. I was sad! All of my friends left me. All of this skiing and going to overnight speech tournaments! It’s madness, I tell you! I’m stuck here with my brother. All he ever wants me to do is play with him. Now, I love him unconditionally and all, but sometimes I need my space. More like 22 hours of each day.
I’ve developed a sudden urge to go eat something. Not someone, but something. I really want scrambled eggs.

Speaking of food, do something for me. Take a minute and just close your eyes. Block out all of the thoughts zipping around in your pretty little head. Now, think of the best brownie you’ve ever eaten in your life. Think of the textrue, the taste, the smell–everything. Think of how amazing those moments were when you were scarfing down that amazing baked good.
Now, erase all of those thoughts. Every single one. Because no one makes better brownies than my mom, got it? This i figured out yesterday when I ate one. I still might be in Heaven.
But stomachs don’t growl in Heaven.
That would have been a really good way to end this post, but I think you’ve forgotten. This is me we’re talking about. I don’t just end things. Well, not besides arguments and conversations and short stories and novels and pretty much everything else but the one thing I’m thinking of. And as soon as I figure out what that one thing is, I’ll be sure to let you know.
I had to do a creative writing project in which I had to take 20 pictures of circles all the same size. I would put the picture of my dad’s head up for an example, but that would be abusing my role as a blogger. And I’m reallly not that mean. Trust me.
Okay. NOW I’m done.
Meg wants you all to know that she did not have scrambled eggs for breakfast. Instead she had pancakes. Not as good as scrambled eggs, but close enough.
