Today was a pretty descent Friday. Not counting algebra, of course, but I blocked that part of my day out anyway. For one reason or another, it seemed to go by extremely fast. I guess part of me is anticipating the prayer vigil at Olivet Nazarine tonight. Okay, that was an understatement, you guys. I’m REALLY excited! My youth group’s worship band gets to lead worship, which is a big awesome. At the last all-night prayer vigil-type thing I went to, I fell asleep standing up. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen this time!
One thing I learned today: how to say “I will publish a famous novel” in Spanish. Yo habre publicado una novela famosa. I also learned that my Spanish teacher is amazing, because he’s letting us have una fiesta for no apparent reason next Friday. That means I’ll have more time over the weekend to practice my solo piece for a vocal festival at my school in a couple of weeks. It needs a lot of work. Trust me.
I decided today that I don’t like Valentine’s Day. At my school, instead of flowers or candy, they’re selling stuffed gorillas you can buy and give to someone you like. The posters seriously say, “If you love someone FORILLA, buy them a GORILLA!” Well, guess what? No one’s bought me a gorilla yet. And if they have, they haven’t hinted towards it. Not that I’m expecting a gorilla. I don’t even want to get into a romantic relationship with any men at my school. They’re all yucky.
I’m going to go take a really quick nap before I’m whisked away on this night-long adventure! See y’all soon! ♥
