I don’t know how. I’m not sure why. But somehow, in my alert state of living at half past six this morning, I got toothpaste in my eye. The uber awesome minty kind. Which, I found out, is not so uber awesome when you’re trying to get it out of your eye. That was the start of my day.
I didn’t get to go outside much today, which was particularly unfortunate. It’s sixty degrees in February! When does that ever happen around here? Answer: hardly ever! So I’m wondering why the one day it’s beautiful outside I’m stuck inside trying not to fall asleep in Algebra. Actually, I think I was awake the whole time today! (I’m just kidding. I rarely sleep in math class.)
I have good news! Remember when I wrote that entry awhile back? The one about writing and how I slaughtered Writer’s Block and wrote an amazing-ish piece? Well, I’m sure you’re dying to read it, right? Well, now you can. If you want to read my favorite style of writing, click here. This one was fun to write! I’m not going to lie.
I have to say that my favorite part of today was every moment I spent with my choir friends. (I love you, choir friends!) Somehow we manage to practice for contest and still goof off. So getting work done and having fun while you’re doing it is in fact possible. Remember that the next time you’re discouraged and school is all blech. I know how that feels.
We did the most awesome lab today in physics! It was SO MUCH FUN! I never expected to write that in any sort of journal or blog entry, ever, but now I am, because it was simply amazing. So amazing, in fact, that I copied the link to the site down in my planner. And guess what? Here it is! I promise you, it’s very addicting and very entertaining at the same time. More addicting though. Just maximize the window in the middle and have fun!
My brain keeps on telling me that I should do something other than write, read, homework, and music. But I can’t think of anything else! Can you?
