Today I spent $90 on a prom ticket, prepared for the ACT, and got rained on by the sky.
Tomorrow is ACT day. Finally! I’m not nervous. In truth, I’m ready to get this bad boy over with. Four hours of testing and then I get to skip home and burn my 800+ page ACT prep book. After that, who knows. I’ll probably end up either catching up on all of the homework I’ve been struggling to complete over the past week or working on my novel, which has gone untouched since mid-March. Eek!
I’ve been drinking a ton of water lately. I think there’s something wrong with me. My thirst levels are insane. Does stress make you thirsty? I’ve refilled my water bottle twice already since I got home at 3:30. That’s a little ridiculous. Before I know it I’m going to explode. That’s what happens when you drink too much water. Actually, you technically drown. But exploding sounded so much cooler.
Why are people so stupid? No offense to people, but this is my question of the day. Everyone knows you’re supposed to walk on the right side of the hallway. Everyone knows that windows are meant for looking into, not for looking at your reflection like its a mirror. It’s not a mirror, guys. Seriously.
“Irreversable” is not a word. Hartford is in fact the capital of Connecticut. And, most importantly, Lorenz Hart was in fact homosexual. (For a gay guy, he was a pretty astounding musical genious.) Speaking of Hartford, did you know that it’s one of the oldest cities in the US? Almost 400 years of age. That’s pretty awesome. It really makes me want to go there…which is why “travel to Hartford Connecticut” is going on my list of 100 things. Right now. Almost.
I’m developing an obcession with musical theatre. I used to want to act on Broadway (original dream, isn’t it?), until I realized that (1) I can’t act, (2) I can’t project my voice, and (c) that’s a crappy way to live unless you’re successful like Kristin Chenoweth. We’re not about to talk about my girl-crush on her. Just kidding.
If slippers were living creatures, they would eat you in your sleep. Have you ever smelled your feet? They have.
Suddenly I hear voices inside my head. But don’t worry. They’re telling me to study. Do I listen to them? Or do I go downstairs and devour an entire container of cottage cheese?
I’ll leave you in suspense.
