Lazy Days

Mr. Sun and I are getting along rather nicely lately.

Though I’m not sure why he decided to come out now, when there are only about two weeks left until he and I will be forced to part for awhile, but I guess it’s better than nothing. I went to the pool yesterday, as well as Sunday. A great summer treat, except when the clouds came and blocked my only hope of not being pale when school starts. But I’m not too worried.

I wish I could say I worked on my novel yesterday, but I didn’t. I’m kind of stuck. I plan on working on it after I post this morning, which is almost guaranteed, because I really don’t feel like getting out of my chair just yet. I’m not sure exactly how much I actually have to write, but I want a lot more to happen before it ends. To be honest, I’m not really sure how that‘s going to happen, either. But that’s the fun of writing a novel. You’d be surprised at how easy it is to surprise yourself.

I, of course, watched the new episode of Secret Life last night, and (prepare yourselves, I’m about to go on one of my famous rants): I hate Amy and Ben together, I think both of them need to take time away from each other and grow up. I hate Adrian and Ricky together and totally thought in the last episode that Ricky told her he couldn’t be with her anymore, and I must say I was proud of him until yesterday. I hate that both Anne and David know who’s baby it is and that David doesn’t care, and that she still wants to marry him, even though George clearly doesn’t want her to. And I don’t know what the deal with Grace is.

Okay. Rant over.

While we’re on the subject of TV shows, I promise you, if I have to wait until Christmas to get the last two seasons of Gilmore Girls, I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself. I already know what happens to Luke and Lorelai and Rory and Logan and all that. But there are 44 episodes out there that I still haven’t seen, and I’m really working hard on this list (watching all of the episodes is totally on there). I guess I could read until then, and focus on my homework once school starts, but that’s nowhere near as fun as the Gilmores.

My mom is working today, which means no pool for my brother and me. But at the moment, the sky looks a little scary, and I know the sun’s there somewhere, but I can’t see it, and that’s just not cool. But that’s what they invented the weather channel for. Off to…oh. I forgot. That would require getting up.

Remember something for me? Don’t go three months without exercising.

Love&hugs, Meg♥
