NaNoWriMo – Day 14

We’re almost halfway done!

Can you believe how fast this month is flying by? Well, it is for me, anyway. I’m just under 22,000 words, a bit under today’s goal, but it’s only four o’clock; I have time. I’m also experiencing a severe semicolon overuse, which you’ll probably notice as I’m typing. Once I get into it, it’s hard to stop. It gets to the point where I don’t even notice I’m doing it anymore.

Unfortunately, I just realized that I’m only a few chapters away from Point Meltdown. I’m torn between boosting my word count and working on my outline, which is a hard choice to make. I would much rather get to today’s word goal than outline, though, so I think I’d rather risk running out of outline than missing the goal for the third day in a row. Let’s hope all goes well.

I have been doing other things than writing today, like making muffins and spending quality time with my brother (no, I’m serious). I’m going to see my school’s fall musical later tonight, which should be fun. Who knows: maybe it’ll inspire me to write more words. Yay words!

Well, off to make more. Words, I mean. Have a great Saturday (let’s hope it’s still Saturday when you’re reading this), and remember: sometimes eavesdropping can be beneficial to both the eavesdropper and the person being spied on. You’re just going to have to trust me on this one.

Love&hugs, Meg♥
