Weekend

Guess who doesn’t have any plans for the weekend? ME! Which is a very good thing, considering the fact that I don’t want to do anything anyway. Clean my room, sure, and study for that quiz I have on Monday. And that unit test I have on Friday. Don’t I have a speech due in a few weeks? Wait, hold on a second. I am NOT about to talk myself into doing work. That’s just not going to happen today.

This is my new favorite Super Bowl 2009 commercial. We watched it in communications when we were talking about careers, and picking ones that make it so you never have to work another day in your life. Paraphrasing a quote from someone (I don’t remember who—I could probably look it up, but I’m far too lazy to type it into Google) that I actually really like, of course.

My choir director (being the beijing Rugenator that he is) actually talked to us about that a few times—the difference between a job and a career, I mean. There’s a huge difference.

No one cares about the Super Bowl. No matter who wins, the world will keep spinning.

Love&hugs, Meg♥
