i know. I know. I KNOW.

You have to admit, I was doing pretty well there for awhile. Now that I’m on break, though, my brain is kind of mush, and I didn’t really get around to writing to you until now. I’ve been doing a truckload of nothing for three straight days, and I’m very happy about it. I’ll eventually have to get some work done, but probably not until Thursday or Friday. Even then, I just have to get ahead on some stuff. No big deal, right?

Since I was dumb enough to apply for NHS, I’m stuck tutoring today and Thursday from 3:15-4:00. I haven’t been back to my high school in a good few months, so this should be interesting. I’m hoping I don’t get stuck trying to explain algebra to a freshman. That would be terrifying.

But after this week I should have most of my hours done, which is a huge relief. Then I just have to concentrate on finishing my first college semester, and it’s smooth sailing from there.

I need a time machine, back to last April. Don’t fill out that application. Don’t do it.
