I do not have time to post this. I have two tests tomorrow. I do not have time to tell you all about my first half of a day of a NaNo experience. I do not have time for the beginnings of phrases repeated for dramatic and effective emphasis.
I almost didn’t make it until midnight, but Olivia (the kind, dedicated, amazing roomie that she is) woke me up in time to type 79 words at midnight before finally falling asleep. I woke up at 7:45, wrote until nine, ate breakfast, and here I am.
Honestly, I’m not quite sure what the rest of the day will bring. Now that I’ve met my minimum word goal for the day (just barely), I’m sure I’ll be able to focus on the more important things, like British literature and sociology notes and a song in Spanish. Right? Right?
I’m not quite finished with the first chapter. Luckily, once I get that done, everything will start running a little bit more smoothly. And once these tests are over, well, things will run even better.
Speaking of running, that’s what Erica and Evie are doing at the very beginning of the story. In the cold. Five miles.
I love November.
Love&hugs, Meg<3
