Word count: 35,595.
I have slowed down a little bit over the past few days due to my must-get-an-A-on-this sociology test in less than sixty minutes from this very second. Why am I blogging? Because I’m driving myself crazy! I want to write! Which is crazy. It’s only the tenth day of NaNoWriMo.
Once my test is over, I plan on upping my word count at least to 40,000 by the end of the day. You can call me crazy, but that’s just how this has turned out. Don’t get me wrong; I haven’t been sitting on my butt writing for the past ten days. I’ve been writing, going to class, taking tests, reading Harry Potter (almost a hundred pages into the fourth book now), and existing outside of my writing. A lot of people aren’t able to manage that. I’m just lucky, I guess.
Then again, I’ve also been sleeping less, and barely getting the grades I need, and procrastinating a little more. So it’s safe to say that I can’t wait for November to be over. I can’t wait until I can concentrate on homework again, and pulling up those B’s to A’s. Right. Totally.
I’m still ahead of Olivia by a little bit. But what I do have to say about that is, this is the first time she has ever done this, while this is my third. My first year, I won, but just barely. She’s gotten halfway through her novel in ten days! I am so proud of you, roomie!
She’s not going to catch me. Heeheehee.
Just kidding.
Study time! Study time! Study time!
Love&hugs, Meg<3
