NaNoWriMo 2010: Day 11

Word count: 41,716.

I may have not gotten any of the A’s I wanted, save for one that didn’t even really count, but I am therefore very close to getting to the minimum goal of 50,000 words for this bizarre NaNoWriMo experience. I can’t wait until it’s over. But while it’s still November, I might as well make the most of it and write my pants off.

I’m sitting in Common Grounds with the best roommate in the whole entire world, procrastinating from the novel because I’m dreading writing this chapter. My goal for the day is 45,000, and though I don’t doubt that I’ll eventually get there, I’m a little nervous about what’s ahead. In the story, I mean.

I’m also scrambling to get all the rest of the Harry Potter books read before the movie comes out next Thursday night. I really want to be able to go see it at midnight with my huge group of friends (who, of course, have read them all). I’m kind of nervous that I won’t get them all finished. That would make me sad. But I have to, almost, once we buy the tickets. I can’t back out then.

I really have to go. I really have to write. I really have to not explode with stress this weekend (so much homework).

Love&hugs, Meg<3
