I don’t understand how some people can stay in bed all day and not care, or even how they can sleep in until nine or ten o’clock and not feel like they’ve wasted half their day. Am I just the type of person that needs to feel like I’m accomplishing something 24/7 or I’ll start beating myself up about not being productive? Is that normal? Does the fact that I’m obsessed with accomplishment mean there’s something wrong with my brain?
I just took a test. I probably failed it. But the thing is, I don’t even care anymore. It was stupid of my professor to give us a test the same day we’re all going home for Thanksgiving break. My mind wasn’t on studying. My mind was on how bad I want to go home already.
Not that going home is going to be all that great. I’m going to have to do laundry and homework and then leave tomorrow night for my grandparents’ house, where I will get absolutely nothing done, stuff my face, and wish I was back at school.
There’s nothing left to eat in our room. Literally. There’s cereal, mayonnaise, grape jelly, applesauce, water, and popcorn. I hate applesauce with a passion, and if I have to eat one more bowl of cereal I’m going to explode.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
Love&hugs, Meg<3
