So for me, July began at 1:00AM.
Apparently, I have the power to turn alarms off in my sleep, because I specifically set mine for 11:55PM so I could wake up, turn on my computer, and start writing at midnight.
Didn’t happen. Clearly.
It is now 1:34AM. I have written three words. I have spent the past thirty-four minutes (1) learning that the proof copy of Queen Bee was ready a half hour after my NaNoWriMo free-copy code expired, (2) figuring out that my Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award submission free-copy code from last year has expired, 3) paying $10.00 for a free proof copy anyway, (4) debating whether or not I should go back to bed for a few hours before I start my day, (5) blogging instead.
I have a quiz to take today.
I have a test tomorrow.
I really should go back to bed.
Stress does so many strange things to me. Physical signs: sweating, nausea, the occasional panic attack (though that’s 65% mental). Emotional: tears. Psychological: likeohmygoshI’mgoingtodie.
And considering skipping church in seven hours just seals the deal.
Happy birthday month to me!
But hey, I bring this all upon myself. School, writing, a cramping hand, swollen wrist, exhaustion, insanity, I forgot where I was going with this paragraph.
Yeah, I’m gonna die.
Love&hugs, Meg<3
