Things are slow, but I’m okay with that.
I guess you could say I’ve been sleeping a lot better than I have in the past few years, but it’s not exactly easy to adjust to. I just can’t seem to get myself out of bed as early as I’ve been able to before, which means I have less time throughout the day to get things done, since I’m not very productive most evenings. So it’s a struggle, a little.
I’m almost done with two out of three classes, which will be a major relief. I actually like biology, so having that one a week and a half longer won’t be bad at all. The next two weeks are going to be crazy, though. I have a total of four quizzes, four tests, and two finals before July 20th, my first “real” day of chemistry and business freedom.
Chemistry ending will be a great birthday present, let me assure you.
My goal today, on top of everything else, is 14,000 words. I’m keeping up a steady 2,000-word daily average, which will still get me to 50,000 before July 31st. By the time August 2nd rolls around, the day in which I am destined to climb into a car my parents have yet to buy and begin making the journey to South Carolina for a ten-day beach house adventure, I will be free from quantity-writing, summer classes, and sleeping in my own bed. I need a change; it’s getting a little too predictable around here.
And that’s saying a lot, coming from borderline-OCD me.
I must do something with my day.
I’ll start with a banana. And peanut butter. My name is Meg, and I am a Peanut Butter Addict.
Love&hugs, Meg<3
