My goal today is 47,000 words, unless I feel like writing more, in which case I will begin the final stretch to 50,000. I am so worn out that I’m not even sure I’ll be able to push myself to write much more after that, but I suppose we’ll see how I feel. The month ends the night before my last final, so it’s not like I’ll be able to celebrate being done with summer school by jumping up a few dozen ranks. I could write more, if I wanted to, but I might just be ready for a major Brain Vacation.

It’s a good thing I leave for South Carolina two days after A&P ends, because I can spend the two days I’ll be stuck in the back of a car sleeping and watching DVDs and wishing I could read in a moving vehicle, which I absolutely cannot. I literally get motion sickness ten seconds after I start reading. I’m not exaggerating.

The weather is gloomy, so I’ll take advantage of another day not spent outside in the sunshine and study my brains out. Or read Divergent, or whatever I feel like doing, I guess.

It’s great claiming Overworked Student as my only job. I’m cool with that.
