I got myself to crank out another 1,000 words this morning, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do it again. I’ve learned many times that you can’t force yourself to write. If the words aren’t flowing, stop trying to make them.
This will be hard this time, since I really like this story and have an idea of where I want it to go. But my mind really does have to focus on a few more important things, like getting an A in A&P, which will be miraculous if I can actually pull it off.
But today, I have to focus on getting more homework done before I embark on yet another late-afternoon adventure.
Friends are amazing. They always will be.
