12 Reasons Writing Is Always Worth the Struggle

Writing is always worth it, no matter what.

1 You always feel better after you put your thoughts/feelings into words.

2. Let’s be honest, it’s nice to share your words with other people. Sometimes they even like what you post.

3. It gives you the opportunity to inspire others.

4. It feels good to pass on lessons you’ve learned.

5. Not everyone can do what you do.

6. It gives you a goal — or set of goals — to work toward.

7. Feeling “blocked” is the worst … but that moment you suddenly feel “unblocked” is exhilarating.

8. You have a story to tell and getting it out is the ultimate thrill — and relief.

9. It teaches you discipline and patience.

10. It trains you to have a more open mind.

11. Even if it’s not perfect, you’ve still accomplished something amazing.

12. This is your story. You deserve to tell it to the world.
