Hello, World!

Hello, people of Earth! Welcome to Writer’s Blog. (Get it? Writers Blog? Like Writer’s Block? Oh shut up. I know I’m not the first one to think of it.)

Sometimes I can’t help but wonder what it is that makes writing such an amazing art. And let me tell you, I don’t have an answer for you. There are no right or wrong answers to this queary, unless you’d beg to differ. Writing is like creating a place of your own, to have and to hold, for always and forever. No one can take your writing away from you. And unless we’re talking AP English papers, writing has no boundaries. You can write about anything, anywhere, anytime. No one has to see anything that you write. I stayed up until past midnight last night writing a story that didn’t make much sense. But the idea was in my head, I wrote it out, and it has potential to be something someday.

Someday far from today, but still.

I have a passion for writing that I cannot ignore. I know I was born to write, because whenever I’m doing writing of any kind (like now, for instance), I feel different. I feel as if all of the issues swirling around my pretty little head are available for kidnapping. I can take anything, whether it be a bad midterm grade or a rude peer in the hallway, and turn it into a beautiful piece of writing that no one has ever written before.

That’s not what makes writing the greatest art, but I know for sure that it’s what makes me love it so much! I want to make a career out of my passion. And even if that doesn’t happen, writing just for the heck of it will always be one of my favorite things to do.
